Lab Manager
Duties include: coordinate purchasing of laboratory consumables and equipment; organize laboratory equipment maintenance; receive delivery of incoming goods; maintain databases such as the chemical and MSDS database; oversee OH&S; maintain inventory of consumables and other duties as required.

Research Scientist in Proteomics/Glycobiology

Pre Clinical Scientist
Apollo Life Sciences Pty Ltd has a vacancy for a Scientist (MSc to PhD) for design and implementation of in-vivo preclinical studies.
The position requires at least 5 years experience in the testing of oral, topical or injectable therapeutic products in animals, for submissions to regulatory authorities, as applications for clinical studies in humans. Knowledge and practical experience in dosing and handling of rodents and monitoring and documentation is essential and previous pharmaceutical company experience would be an advantage. The applicant should demonstrate leadership and management skills, be able to mentor other scientists and be highly motivated with the ability to work independently or in a team environment and be flexible enough to develop new techniques, for testing of novel compounds and delivery platforms.

Senior Scientist
Apollo Life Sciences Pty Ltd has a vacancy for a Senior Scientist (MSc to PhD), supervisor for production of our recombinant proteins. The position involves design and implementation of purification processes for novel human recombinant proteins for our catalog, and characterization and stability testing of the purified products. Knowledge and practical experience in GLP processes and documentation would be an advantage, and previous industry experience is essential.
This position requires leadership and management skills, and mentoring of other scientists, strategic planning, development of scalable processes for movement of some proteins into preclinical development, and the continuing development of Apollo’s pipeline of fully human proteins. The applicant should be highly motivated with the ability to work independently or in a team environment, and be willing to learn new techniques.
