Recombinant Human MCP-1/CCL2 
Glycosylation of MCP-1/CCL2 has been shown to substantially improve its half-life when incubated at 37 degrees C. Apollo's purified MCP-1/CCL2hcx consists of up to 55% carbohydrate by weight.
Monocyte chemotactic protein-1 (MCP-1) is a member of the C-C chemokine family. MCP-1 exhibits chemotactic activity for a range of lymphocytes, but not neutrophils or eosinophils. It also exhibits chemotactic activity for neural stem cells. MCP-1 is expressed by a range of cells in response to the cytokines IL-1, TNF-a, IFN-g, as well as bacterial or viral products and mitogens.
